40. Earl George DUGLAS 1st Earl of Angus was born in 1308 in Tantallon Castle. He died in 1403. George was the illegitimate son of the first Earl of Douglas. He received his lands and title from his mother
George was captured at the battle of Homidon Hill and died of the plague in prison
