was born about 1747 in Prince William Co., Virginia. She died about
1820 in Putman Co., In. Isaac Sinclair and Letitia Douglas had
eleven children: William Douglas; Thomas Crawford and his wives 1)Sarah Grimsley
and 2)Nancy Wood; Elizabeth and her husbands 1)Dabney Shrewsbury and 2)Samuel
Parish; Alexander and his wife Rebecca Gilpin; Isaac, Jr., and his wife Anna
Patterson Karnes/Kerns; Wayman and his wife Elizabeth Douglas; John and his wife
Catherine Wright; Nancy and her husband Joel Carter; George and his wives 1)Rachel
Sharp and 2)Lucinda (surname unknown); and Joseph and his wife Margaret (Peggy)
Buchannan. Three of the children are undocumented, but accepted through circumstantial
evidence and the process of elimination. Those are William Douglas, Alexander
and Nancy. Two of the children remained in Virginia. They are Elizabeth and John
