Know all news by these presents whom it may concern that I John Boller senior of Bath County and Commonwealth of Virginia for and in consideration of the love and affection for my grandson Benjamin Douglas and for devine good cause and considerations hereunto ensuing do hereby give and grant by these presents hath given and granted unto him my said grandson Benjamin Douglas to have and his heirs forever one negroe woman named Jane and In Futunauary whomof this said John Boller hath hereunto all my hand and affixed my seal this 9th day of April 1813.

I. Brown D.C. He appeared in the census in 1830 in Alleghaney Co., Virginia.²¹⁶ His Estate Settle]²⁵¹ This Deed also names his children from his first marriage. The property was on the north side of Jackson's river and on Mice Creek He died bfe Feb 1831 in Alleghaney Co., Virginia.^251,252 Benjamin's children became the wards of their great uncle John Bolar Jr. As they grew up this became a very stormy relationship which, at one point, came to death threats. Apparently the boys left as soon as they could and , as of this date, have not been traceable. Deposition taken in Warren county, Kentucky in a law suit against the estate of John B. Douglas. This were he identified himself as the attorney for his deceased brother John B. Douglas Jr.

Benjamin M. DOUGLAS and Abigail Dickerson MCCLUNG were married on 27 Jan 1814 in Greenbrier Co., Vairginia (WV today).²⁴⁸ This McClung family belonged to a large Clan in Greenbrier (WVa today), Botetourt, Bath county area of Virginia. There are many McClung bibles available and the family kept good genealogical records. Abigail Dickerson MCCLUNG²⁴⁸ (daughter of John (Black John) MCCLUNG and Jane BOLLAR) was born on 8 Oct 1795 in Greenbrier Co., Vairginia (WV today).²⁴⁸ She died on 18 Jul 1829 in Greenbrier Co., Vairginia (WV today).²⁴⁸ Benjamin M. DOUGLAS and Abigail Dickerson MCCLUNG had the following children:

Benjamin M. DOUGLAS and Harriet MORRISON were married on 8 Jul 1830 in Alleghaney Co., Virginia.²⁵⁴ Benjamin was married by the Rev. John A. Van Lear Harriet MORRISON (daughter of John MORRISON) died on 20 Apr 1859. Benjamin M. DOUGLAS and Harriet MORRISON had the following children:
