206. William DOUGLAS²¹⁰ was born in 1767 in Fauquier Co., Virginia. He appeared in the census in 1830 in Bath Co., Virginia.²¹¹ He signed a will on 2 Jan 1836 in Bath Co., Virginia.²¹² He died bfe May 1837 in Bath Co., Virginia.²¹³ William had fourteen children by three different women. To date there has not been any marriage records found. He provided for all of the children in his will.

His children by Betsy Ross kept their mother's name.

His plantation was Sexton Place. At the time of his death he owned over two thousand acres of land and twenty eight slaves.
