33. Sir John de DUGLAS of Lothian and Dalkeith¹⁶ was born about 1310. He died Assinated on 25 Jan 1350. He was buried in Holyrood, Scotland. John Douglas was the ancestor of the Cadet Branch of Mains. Defender of the Island of Lochleven against the forces of King Edward III in 1334.

He was assiassinated in Fergywood before Shrove Tuesday 1350.
