Second Generation

2. Sir John de DUGLAS 2nd Lord of Douglas² died about 1145. A man of great note in the reign of King David I, owned lands which lie in the Shier of Selkirk betwixt Etrick Forest and Peebles, which were long in the possession of the Douglas family.
